Final de proiect cu lansare de lanterne zburatoare in partea veche a orasului Baia Mare. Dupa cum se stie, un numar de 35 de tineri, dintre care 12 cu uşoare dizabilităţi fizice sau mentale, au vizitat pe parcursul saptamanii trecute municipiul Baia Mare şi împrejurimile într-un schimb de tineret finanţat pin programul Tineret în Acţiune. Proiectul SaMe al asociaţiei de tineret Team for Youth a fost un partneriat între organizaţii nonguvernamentale din 7 ţări şi instituţii locale.
„Obiectivele proiectului au fost de a stabili contacte şi un schimb de experienţă între 35 de lucrători în domeniul asistării persoanelor cu dizabilităţi, implicarea persoanelor cu dizabilităţi în activităţi creative şi de promovare a voluntariatului şi identificare oportunităţilor pe care aceştia le au de a deveni voluntari şi a se implica în comunitate.
În ultima zi a proiectului tinerii din Italia, Spania, Estonia, Polonia, Turcia, Anglia şi România au participat la o conferinţă de presă desfăşurată la Biblioteca Judeţeană „Petre Dulfu” unde au împărtăşi din experienţa şi emoţiile ultimelor 8 zile petrecute împreună.
Toţi au fost încântaţi de oraşul nostru şi de felul în care a fost organizat youth exchange-ul. Vizitele la Gradina botanică din Jibou, asociaţia Mansio din Firiza, voluntarul din Corpul Păcii şi Centrul Cultural din satul Săsar, centrul de hipoterapie din Băiţa, Planetariul şi Biblioteca din Baia Mare l-ea arătat diversitaea formelor pe care munca de voluntariat o poate lua şi a întărit legăturile dintre ei”, au declarat reprezentantii Team for Youth Association.
Acestia au mai precizat faptul ca tinerii prezenti s-au împrietenit foarte uşor cu colegii lor baimareni, „găsindu-şi ca numitor comun umanitatea, înţelegerea şi dorinţa de a ajuta. Diferenţele culturale sau dificultăţile de exprimae fizice sau mentale nu au constituit bariere în legarea de prietenii si simpatii puternice”.
„Proiectul s-a încheiat emoţionant prin înălţarea unor lampioane colorate luminoase din piaţa Milenium. Fiecare lampion purta scrise dorinţele voluntarilor de a-şi revedea prietenii nou întâlniţi şi de a reveni în Baia Mare, chiar prin Serviciul European de Voluntariat găzduit de Team for Youth.
Asociaţia noastră îşi doreşte ca tinerii să participe la cât mai multe programe de schimb de tineret sau servicii de voluntariat, pentru a cunoaşte şi alte culturi şi condiţii de trai. Apropierea de persoanele cu dizabilităţi ajută foarte mult la înţelegerea situaţiei lor şi realizarea faptului că aceştia sunt oameni la fel ca toţi ceilalşi şi că au talente şi pot face lucruri pe care alţii nu le-ar putea face”, au concluzionat T4UTH.

I liked beeing here! I liked making the masks, crafts, walking in the city. Sometimes I was very tired, but I hoped it will pass, and it did. The weather is nice and I saw many new houses. I would like to become volunteer and do some handicrafts somewhere!” Leana, Estonia
„I was volunteer for little children, but never had the chance to work with people with disabilities. I learned that even if they can’t use their legs, as they want, for example, they have other qualities and can be more spontaneous than me for example. I enjoyed every minute! After a long journey we arrived here, and I didn’t know how cultures will react to each other. In the beginning it wasn’t very easy but you were very patinet and now I am relaxed and happy to know each one of you. All week was briliant, and my only complaint would be that you can’t find any good tea in Baia Mare, haha!” Cole, England
There are some people here with very strong hearts, and I’m very impressed with what they are doing, they just give up their lifes to help others and to fight the ignorance. The other persons that worry to much about their complexes, ust look at the persons with disabilities and see they are very beautifull and we are all very beautifull.” Andraash, Romania
